It Started With Two Cats Named Taco and Tues

I've always believed that love has a shape.

When I rescued my first cat, then a second, then two more — and eventually welcomed a dog who stayed by my side for nine years — I stopped thinking of them as pets. They were family. The warmest part of my day.

One afternoon, I brought one of my cats to a portrait session. Watching her stretch out under the lights, relaxed and completely herself, something shifted in me. I thought: what if this moment didn't have to stay flat? What if it could be something you could actually hold?

That question became Taco&Tues — named after the first two cats who started it all.

What We Believe

Every pet has a look that's completely their own. The way your dog tilts their head. The exact color of your cat's fur in the afternoon light. The silly expression only you've seen a hundred times.

What We Make

Custom Pet Figurines — Hand-Painted Portrait Figurines

Our most loved product. Every figurine is painted entirely by hand, color by color, detail by detail — based on the photos you send us. Fur markings, coat patterns, eye color: all done by brush, not by machine. Before anything ships, we photograph the finished piece and send it to you for approval. If the painting isn't right, we fix it. We don't ship until you love it.

Full Body Custom Figurines

For pet owners who want the whole picture — pose, body shape, and all. These are built from scratch using 3D modeling and hand-painted by our artists. Four sizes available.

Custom Pet Portrait Necklaces

A smaller way to keep them close. Hand-crafted in S925 silver or pearl chain, each pendant is made from your pet's photo.

The Team Behind Your Portrait

Taco&Tues is a team of 12 people who came together because of one shared thing: a deep tenderness for animals.

We have 6 fine arts painters — trained, classically schooled artists who paint every figurine by hand. No printing. No shortcuts. Just brushwork, layered until it looks like your animal.

We also have 2 professional animal sculptors who specialize in 3D modeling — the people behind our full body figurines, building every piece from scratch so the proportions, pose, and personality are right.

Behind the scenes, 4 operations teammates quietly hold every order together — making sure your figurine arrives safely, on time, and exactly as you approved it.

The Order We Still Talk About

A few years into running Taco&Tues, a customer placed an order for her cat's 20th birthday.

Twenty years. A whole life shared.

She knew exactly what she wanted — and our first version wasn't quite right. So we revised. And revised again. Twelve rounds of adjustments, each one getting closer.

When we sent the final photos, she wrote back: "This is exactly my baby."

That's the moment we work toward with every single order. Not just a figurine that looks like a cat. A figurine that looks like her cat.

We've learned that doing this well takes more than artistic skill. It takes patience. It takes the ability to truly understand what a person sees when they look at their pet — and the willingness to keep going until we get it right.
